What we collect
When you complete a request form on this site we receive the fields you fill in: name, company, email address, telephone number, city, state, postal code, the quantity and product type you are asking about, the service you selected, an optional grade, your message, and the address of the page you submitted from. Nothing else is harvested from your browser, and we run no advertising pixels, no session recording and no third-party analytics scripts.
Why we collect it
- To quote. Postal code decides freight; quantity and product type decide price; prior contents decide whether a tote can legally be reused for your application.
- To ship. Dispatch needs a name, an address and a contact to arrange an appointment window.
- To keep a record. Used-container trading is a regulated, documentation-heavy business. We retain the written trail of what was offered, agreed and delivered.
Who else sees it
Our lead records are stored with our forms provider, which processes submissions on our behalf and is contractually barred from using them for anything else. Freight details are shared with the carrier assigned to your lane, limited to what the driver needs to complete the pickup or delivery. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not pass your details to other container dealers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after 24 months. Transaction records, prior-contents declarations and diversion certificates are kept for seven years because environmental and tax reporting can reach back that far.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies and uses no cross-site identifiers. Pages are served statically wherever possible, and the one piece of server logic — the request form — is invoked only when you submit it.
Your choices
Write to info@ibctotesreco.com and ask us to send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We will confirm in writing within 30 days. If you are a California or Virginia resident exercising a statutory right, say so in the subject line and we will treat it as a formal request.
Security
Form submissions travel over TLS and are processed server-side; the credentials used to file your request never reach your browser. Access to the lead record is limited to the sales, dispatch and office staff who need it.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects existing records, email anyone whose data is in scope.
